Our Story

About Us!

Ken & Emily Holtz

We are a husband-and-wife team that first met while working together in the hospitality industry. We have many shared passions which include animals, tourism, country music, business & property rehabilitation/development.

Ken, having grown up in Wayland, NY, was deeply immersed in the farming community and later pursued degrees in Construction Management, Hotel Management, and Business Management.

Emily, raised in Brockport, NY, was actively involved in her parents’ rental property & home improvement projects, instilling in her a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. Emily’s education in Communication, Psychology, and Early Childhood Education, combined with experience in event planning and office management, provides a well-rounded skill set for these future endeavors.

Our journey as business owners began in 2019 with the launch of our Etsy shop, All About You Decor, specializing in woodworking and event decor. Our hands-on experience in home renovation and property management then expanded into real estate investments, leading to the purchase and rehabilitation of multiple rental properties in addition to building our own home.

The unexpected challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic solidified our commitment to self-employment, as we adapted by constructing a pole barn to host our wedding reception and grow our event decor business. As demand for event rental spaces surged post-pandemic, we transitioned to full-time entrepreneurship, with goals of additional property ventures.

In 2023, we launched K&E Property Improvements, a landscaping and property improvement business, which allowed us to acquire essential equipment for our long-term vision.

We now have four young children showing a keen interest in agriculture and are shifting towards a more family-oriented business model. After years of extensive research and planning, we are launching our own farm venue and play center.

Our vision is to create a space that encourages togetherness, fosters screen-free quality time, and provides a safe and welcoming environment for families & groups to have fun.

We dedicate ourselves fully to this new chapter, blending our roots, education & experience, passions, and dreams into an inviting community destination.
